Job Details:
Position: Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Electrical (GCA)
- Function: Engineering, Maintenance & Utility Services
- Location: Veraval, Gujarat
- Education: B.E. Electrical
- Experience: 5–8 years in relevant field
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operations, maintenance, and safety of electrical systems across GCA Veraval’s Caustic – Electrical Department
- Operate & maintain High Voltage (HV) & Low Voltage (LV) switchgears, VCBs, ACBs, and transformers
- Troubleshoot and conduct fault analysis of electrical systems
- Maintain rectifier units, motors, UPS systems, and VFDs
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Ensure safe functioning of all electrical installations
- Manage inventory of electrical appliances, spares, and tools
- Apply Process Safety Management (PSM) practices in daily operations
- Adhere to Management of Change (MOC) procedures and documentation
