Job Details:
- Position: Manager – Contract (International Projects)
- Location: Corporate Office, Nashik, Maharashtra
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech Civil)
- Postgraduate Specialization: Contract Management from NICMAR/RICS
- Additional Qualification: LLB or LLM (desirable)
Experience:
- Industry Experience: Minimum 20 years in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Contract Management Expertise: At least 8–10 years in a similar role with international contract frameworks like FIDIC, ICC, JCT, and NEC.
- Project Closeout & Claims Management: Successful completion of at least 8 international projects, including claims and arbitration.
- Dispute Resolution & Arbitration: Proven track record in international arbitration, with favorable outcomes in at least 2 cases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Contract Management:
- Oversee the contract life cycle from drafting to post-contract analysis.
- Drive process improvements for efficient project delivery.
2. Contractual Compliance:
- Prepare and draft contractual notices and responses.
- Manage extension of time claims with legal and project teams.
3. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration:
- Lead arbitration and ADR processes for international projects.
- Collaborate with legal teams to safeguard company interests.
4. Document Management:
- Review and finalize critical documents (MoUs, confidentiality agreements, sub-contracts).
5. Team Leadership:
- Mentor contract administrators and managers in principles of contract management, dispute resolution, and negotiation.
6. Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary liaison for all contract-related communications with clients and stakeholders.
7. Risk Mitigation & Compliance:
- Proactively identify and mitigate contractual risks.
- Ensure all activities comply with legal and regulatory standards.
8. Cost & Claims Management:
- Monitor project budgets and oversee claims preparation to minimize losses and ensure reimbursements.
9. Continuous Improvement:
- Implement best practices in contract management processes, aligning with global standards.
