Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: 20+ years of proven experience in managing pre-cast yard operations or similar environments. OR Strong understanding of pre-cast concrete production processes, materials, and equipment.

Skills:

• Leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management software.

• Other Requirements: Willingness to work abroad (Guyana, South America).

Job Summary:

The Pre-Cast Yard Manager is responsible for managing the operations of the pre-cast yard, including production, quality control, safety, and team leadership. The role requires collaboration with multiple departments to meet production targets and ensure high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Oversight:

• Manage daily operations to achieve production goals.
• Supervise manufacturing processes (molding, batching, curing, finishing).
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.

2. Team Management:

• Lead and train a team of laborers, machine operators, and supervisors.
• Develop staff schedules for timely production and coverage.

3. Costing:

• Understand product costing and analyze material reconciliation.
• Implement corrective actions as necessary.

4. Inventory & Material Management:

• Oversee inventory levels of raw materials (cement, aggregates, steel).
• Coordinate with procurement to avoid production delays.

5. Quality Control:

• Implement and monitor quality control measures.
• Conduct inspections, address quality issues, and ensure compliance with standards.

6. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and conduct safety audits.
• Maintain compliance with local and international regulations.

7. Maintenance & Equipment Management:

• Oversee maintenance and calibration of machinery and tools.
• Schedule preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

8. Scheduling & Coordination:

• Develop production schedules and coordinate with logistics teams.
• Adjust schedules based on project needs and priorities.

9. Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and inspections.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Additional Details:

• Work Environment: Primarily based in the pre-cast yard, with occasional site visits and meetings.
• Physical Requirements: Regular interaction with production and logistics teams.
