Job Details:
Position: Senior Project Manager – Operations & Maintenance
- Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat
- Qualifications Required: Diploma in Civil Engineering or B. Tech in Civil Engineering
- Experience: 21-24 years
Job Responsibilities:
Operations & Maintenance:
- Develop and implement both long-term and short-term O&M strategies for highway infrastructure.
- Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Maintenance Planning:
- Plan preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for highway assets, including roads, bridges, tunnels, and road signage.
- Monitor and assess road conditions to prioritize repair work.
- Lead emergency response initiatives for incidents such as accidents, natural disasters, and road damage.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of managers, engineers, and administrative staff.
- Establish clear goals and expectations for the team, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Budgeting & Cost Management:
- Develop and manage O&M budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Ensure cost controls and monitor expenditures to maintain financial discipline.
Asset Management:
- Oversee assessments of asset conditions and ensure timely repairs, replacements, and rehabilitation.
- Ensure an up-to-date inventory of all highway-related assets.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as a key contact for government bodies, regulatory agencies, and the public regarding highway maintenance issues.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and management about project updates and operational concerns.
Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor the performance of O&M activities against KPIs and objectives.
- Report on progress, key issues, and improvement measures to senior management.
