Position: Project HSE Manager

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain the project HSE management system as per KEC’s standards and regulations.
2. Perform comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and create mitigation strategies.
3. Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
4. Lead safety training for project personnel and subcontractors to enhance safety awareness.
5. Investigate any incidents or accidents, create detailed reports, and implement corrective measures.
6. Collaborate with project managers to incorporate HSE aspects into planning and execution.
7. Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholders on HSE issues for compliance and effective communication.
8. Generate regular HSE performance reports for management, highlighting trends and improvement areas.
9. Foster a culture of safety by engaging and communicating with all team members regularly.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in HSE management, preferably within large-scale construction or renewable energy.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations in the solar energy sector.
• Proven experience in risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Certifications: HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
