Job Description: Highway Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Expertise: Experience in designing highways using MX Road, OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, etc.
- Geometric Design: Proficient in geometric design of highways.
- 3D Modeling: Strong skills in highway design and 3D modeling, especially using Autodesk tools.
- Surface Modeling: Capable of designing highways and surface modeling.
- Site Understanding: Ability to assess existing site conditions and interpret topographical surveys.
- Inventory & Condition Survey: Conduct inventory and condition surveys of highways.
- Design Proficiency: Skilled in designing alignments, junctions, interchanges, and drainage systems.
- Project Reports: Experience in preparing detailed project reports for expressways and NH standards.
- Traffic Signs & Road Marking: Knowledgeable in traffic signs and road marking design.
- IRC Codes Knowledge: Familiar with IRC codes for various aspects of highway design.
- National & International Standards: Well-versed in relevant national and international codes.
- Project Management: Responsible for end-to-end project design, delivery, and CAD production.
- Design Reports: Preparation and finalization of highway-related drawings and design reports.
- Team Mentoring: Ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Construction Knowledge: Understanding of construction methodologies.
- Communication & Presentation: Strong communication and presentation skills.
- MS Office Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate anywhere in India as required by project needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- Graduation: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering
- Post Graduation: MTech in Civil/Transportation Engineering (preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in a design consulting environment.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MX Road, Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
