As a core arm of L&T Construction, we work on cutting-edge projects in Steel, Iron, Alumina, Zinc, and Copper sectors. Now’s your chance to be part of our Engineering & Design Centre (EDRC) in Kolkata and contribute to building the future.
Open Positions:
1. Civil & Structural Design
- Expertise in designing heavy industrial steel and RCC structures
- Knowledge of ANSYS/Nastran is an advantage
2. Mechanical & Process Design
- Experience in designing for DRI, Coke Ovens, Rolling Mills, Sinters, Pellets, Blast Furnaces, Acid/Fertilizer Plants
3. Utilities & Piping Design
- Skilled in fuel, steam, water, wastewater systems
- Proficient in PFD, P&ID, and piping stress analysis
4. Equipment & Material Handling Design
- Experience in drive/component sizing for Stacker Reclaimers, Wagon Tipplers, Conveyors, etc.
- FEA knowledge (Nastran/ANSYS) is a plus
5. Electrical & Instrumentation Design
- Power distribution systems, load calculations
- Familiar with PLC/DCS/SCADA systems and loop diagrams
6. Construction Method Planning Cell (CMPC)
- RCC, Precast, Steel structural design
- Erection engineering and geotechnical solutions for heavy structures
Qualifications
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech/Diploma/ITI
Experience
- 5 to 20 years in design for Steel, Iron, Alumina, Zinc, Copper, or similar metallurgical projects
