Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management:
- Oversee drafting, negotiation, and administration of contracts.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Claims Management:
- Evaluate and manage claims, disputes, and contract variations.
- Conduct regular contract and claim audits to identify potential risks.
- Negotiation and Dispute Resolution:
- Lead negotiations and maintain detailed records of contracts.
- Stay updated on the latest contract management and claims resolution practices.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage the contracts and claims team, providing guidance and mentoring.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, claims management processes, and construction industry practices.
- Certification such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or similar is a plus.
