Job Details:

• Job Role: Engineer/Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager – Planning (Building)
• Location: Maldives/Mauritius
• Experience: 5+ years
• Education: NICMAR / B. Tech / BE / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Control: Oversee and manage project activities, ensuring efficient progress through the project management lifecycle.
• Flowchart and Checklist Creation: Develop comprehensive flowcharts and checklists for various site activities, ensuring proper monitoring of quality parameters. Integrate this data into billing systems and Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Progress Review: Regularly assess the project’s progress in aspects like material submissions, drawings, and on-site construction. Work with senior staff to ensure the project remains on schedule, addressing any issues as necessary.
• Collaborative Coordination: Liaise with engineering consultants, collaborators, suppliers, and clients to finalize project specifications and requirements.
• Site Planning: Assist the project manager in planning, coordination, and preparation of MIS reports to keep the project on track.

Required Skills and Attributes:

• Expertise in Primavera P6/P7, MS Project, and MS Excel.
• Experience in project planning, handling budgets, managing variations, and overseeing time extensions.
• Strong technical background with the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and logical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
