Job Details

• Open Positions: Engineer – Contract
• Location: Ahmedabad (Head Office)
• Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Civil)
• Experience: Minimum 3-4 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement acquisition strategies for future contracts
• Ensure that contract strategies, tenders, contracts, and variations are in full compliance with QP’s Policies and Procedures
• Ensure compliance with Contracts Procedures and support Project Execution Procedures
• Act as the point of contact and expert for EPC Contracts, managing the EPC Contractor effectively in line with the contracts
• Review EPC contractors’ invoices and prepare Progress Payment Certificates with Cost Control, costs, forecasts, and requests for extras
• Perform site surveys, system designs, prepare specifications, presentations, and documentations
• Prepare responses to queries raised by the contractor, and develop and manage a system for expediting responses to letters raised by the contractor and PMT
• Comprehensive administration of the project contract, ensuring the parties properly fulfill their obligations and responsibilities in a fully auditable manner
• Responsible for internal reporting of all commercial and contractual issues
• Ensure that the project has clear deliverables through handover meetings with the process team (estimating, design, commercial, procurement, plant, and operations) and ensure monitoring/compliance through the use of KPIs
